Ecomaldon fit & maintain high quality MCS approved solar panels that have huge upside potential to reduce the costs of your energy bill and provide you with income through the feed-in-tariff.
A solar panel system works using a number of panels (an array), which is normally mounted on your roof. Each solar panel is made up of photovoltaic cells which are usually made of wafer-thin layers of silicon and look a bit like blue or black tiles. When daylight hits the cells it creates an electric field – the brighter the sunlight, the more electricity is produced.
The power will automatically feed to your machinery, appliances, lighting, etc. Any additional electricity required above what your solar panels are producing at any given time (or at night) will be taken from the grid. Similarly, as solar panels can’t store electricity, any power generated that you don’t use at the time will be exported back to the grid.
